For those of you that don't know, Chris received orders Thursday to deploy to Iraq in December for 7 months. This came as a complete shock to us as well as his superiors at the hospital. The orders came through specifically for him which usually doesn't happen. For instance, orders will come out for a job title such as a logistics officer or hospital corpsman. His came through with his name and social. Chris did some searching around and found out that each person has a number attached to them for accounting purposes. His number was actually for a civil engineer and he is a logistics officer. So it was a mistake or so we've been told. If anything changes we'll keep you posted but as of now he's not going. Praise the Lord!!!

Love the pictures of the boys on the slip and slide! I miss you all so much and can't wait to see you in just about 7 months!! Hopefully it will go by real fast!!

We are still reeling from the shock. We just thank God for answered prayers. I still have to let Gramma know all is well. Hope your weekend was a good one. Can't wait to see pictures of Halloween. Miss you guys....

Hey my comment is not about Chris although I hope he won't have to go. Lee told me about this last week. We have been praying. Anyway I cannot seem to read you blog without crying! We miss you guys SO much. PS the boy's artwork is hanging on the fridge! Tell them to send more. Love Rebecca
